The General Overseer of Christ Embassy Ministry, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has revealed how important the Holy Spirit is to a Christian, when considering a marriage partner.
“When it comes to getting a marriage partner, whether you are male or female it’s the same thing. First thing you need to know is that, you’re a Christian and whosoever your are going to get married to must be a Christian. That’s the first thing you need to know. He or she must be a Christian. It’s important you know that,” Pastor Chris said.
He also implored Christian to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit when considering a marriage partner. “The second thing that you need to know before you chose a life partner, is the guidance of the Holy Spirit. No matter how that person comes to you, whether recommended to you by people you trust their judgments or you saw her in your dream, you need the guidance of the Holy Spirit. So that you can judge whatever comes to you, because only Him knows the future and what that person might become in the future. So, you need the guidance of the Holy Spirit to chose a marriage partner,” Pastor Chris said.
