What You Must Do if You Want to Enjoy Long Lasting Wealth – Pastor David Ibiyeomie

In a recent video on his Facebook page, Pastor David Ibiyeomie recently emphasized that true prosperity and ‘Lasting Wealth’ cannot be claimed through conventional means, nor can it be inherited. Instead, he contends that achieving lasting wealth requires personal effort and operating within a specific covenant.

Prosperity, often associated with financial success and abundance, has been a goal for many individuals around the world. People may seek blessings, pray fervently, or engage in fasting in the belief that these actions will lead to financial prosperity. However, Pastor David Ibiyeomie’s perspective challenges this traditional thinking, suggesting that lasting wealth doesn’t conform to these methods.

Furthermore, he highlights that neither inherited affluence nor economic policies are guarantees of lasting wealth. In many cases, individuals who have inherited assets from their parents have encountered financial difficulties, eventually having to sell their inherited properties. This common occurrence raises questions about the nature of lasting wealth and how it can be achieved.

Pastor Ibiyeomie proposes that the path to lasting wealth lies in operating within a covenant. In this context, a covenant implies a set of principles, values, and commitments related to financial prudence, wise investments, and wealth-building strategies. By adhering to these terms, individuals can experience lasting wealth.

According to him, “The subject of prosperity has no respect in you claiming Abraham’s blessings. It has no respect for fasting and prayer, it does not respect the economic policies. It will surprise you that you cannot inherit ‘Lasting Wealth’ – You can’t inherit it. Even if your father is rich, you can’t inherit it, you have to do your own part. Have you not seen all the boys who their parents left houses for them? They are broke, they started selling them one after the other. So, the answer to lasting wealth in the Kingdom is operating in the covenant. To enjoy lasting wealth, you must delicately keep to the terms of the covenant.”
