Cross Riverians are reacting to their first sunday service in 2 months Since the lifting of ban on religious service as ordered by the governor senator professor Ben Ayade in a communiqué signed by his senior special adviser media and publicity,Mr Christian Ita.
For the first time in two months, churches and religious houses were opened and as expected ,thunderous praises and worship sections were witnessed in all churches especially those in the metropolis.
A visit to some churches showed worshippers adorned in their best attires and facemask worn especially for the female folks,a complimenting piece of mask material in uniformity with their dresses.
One could see the excitement in the faces of worshippers as they thanked the governor for his consideration to allow for church services to hold with some light conditions.
Some of the conditions he gave was that, all worshippers must wear a facemask, there must be provision if Veronica buckets and hand sanitizers ,and maintainance of social distance.
