A lot of people thought he was actually his biological son because of the closeness the Vice President Osibanjo keeps with his family even with the children of his siblings. He was the one that practically stood as the father of Laolu during his wedding.
In this article, we will be focusing on his nephew, Laolu who’s also following in the footsteps of his uncle, not in politics but in the area of working in God’s vineyard.
Laolu Osibanjo and his passion as a preacher of the gospel of Christ
Laolu Osibanjo is the nephew of the Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osibanjo. He is very close to him, so a lot of people actually thought he was his first son. He also has a resemblance with the VP and he’s virtually in all the family pictures of the nuclear family of the VP that a lot of people mistake him as his biological son.
But Professor Yemi Osibanjo has only one son, Fiyinfunoluwa, who graduated from Warwick University in the United Kingdom.

Laolu was also present at his graduation ceremony to cheer and celebrate with his cousin. It’s obvious they regard him highly and take him as part of their nuclear circle.
Laolu Osinbajo is the Founder of Awa Customers ng.com, an e-commerce market selling platform for made in Nigeria products; where vendors are welcome to list their products and services. He is a lawyer by profession and attended Nigerian Law School for a year within the space of 2016-2017.
Mr. Laolu Osinbajo has a diploma degree in film production (Cinematography/Film Production) at Toronto Film School from 2014-2016. This was before he went to Law School in 2016. He had his bachelor’s degree in School of Lincoln from 2011-2014, before he moved to Toronto for Film Production.
People who are close to him describe him as humble guy who does not behave like other politician kids.
On his Instagram page, Laolu describes himself like this: “I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Make straight the way of the LORD” I’m a Prophet and Husband”.
Today, he uses his social media platform to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. He is not an ordained pastor but he is someone that is very passionate about the Kingdom of God.
If you check his Instagram Page, you will be convinced he is a pastor although he’s not yet ordained. He spends time to teach the word to his listeners through videos and messages.
Lauolu Osinbajo is happily married to Sekemioluwa Osinbajo, his adorable and beautiful wife. They celebrated one year anniversary of their engagement few days ago.
For someone who has easy access to the corridors of power of this nation, it seems he couldn’t care less about politics but is focused more on his passion of spreading the gospel and using the social media as an avenue to reach as many people as he can for the Kingdom of God.
