“Full Redemption through Reconciliation with God.” – Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi gave a sermon to members of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry on Sunday, 20th September, 2020 from Agege, Lagos State, Nigeria.

The message was transmitted via satellite and social media.

He took the text from the book of Psalm 31, 32 and 51 and he titled the message, “Full Redemption through Reconciliation with God.”

He further divided the message into three main points and three sub points, namely:

i The Imputation of His righteousness to The Penitent: Psalm 32:1-2; Romans 4:5-7; Proverbs 28:13; Isaiah 55:6-7.

ii The Impartation of His Righteousness to The Purified: Psalm 32:2; Romans 4:22-25;6:6,18,22.

iii The Implication of His Righteousness in His People: Psalm 32:2; Romans 13:10; 1st Corinthians 13:5; 1st Peter 3:10; Revelation 14:4-5.

3 The Restoration of The Lord’s Riches of Full Salvation: Psalm 51:1-12.

i The Restoration from Being Washed from Sin: Psalm 51:1-2; Isaiah 1:16-18; 1st Corinthians 6:9-11; Titus 3:5-7.

ii The Reconciliation of Becoming Whiter than Snow: Psalm 51:6-7,10; Ephesians 5:26-27; 1st Thessalonians 5:22-24; Revelation 19:7-8.

“When you give your life to Christ, He gives you His salvation and righteousness.”

“As you confess and forsake the sin, the blood of Jesus Christ also washes, cleanses and purges you from iniquity; He makes you to be totally forgiven and when he forgives you, he will not remember against you any more, now you have the Lord’s righteousness.”

“When Adam and Eve fell, humanity fell, we lost quite a lot of riches and resources but now as we come from Christ what we lost in Adam, He now gives us in the Lord Jesus Christ.”

“When we repent of what we have done wrong, there is the imputation of righteousness.”

He doesn’t only pardons us, he sets us free and takes the power of sin and he puts His righteousness in us.”

“Confession without forsaking of sin will not bring repentance.”

“Anywhere we are, if that imputation and impartation has taken place, the implication of that in our life is that there is no guile, no evil, no hypocrisy, no insincerity, no pretense, no secret sin, no evil because He so puts His righteousness in us that the life of Christ is reproduced in us.”

“If you are going to get saved, you must be personal, sincere and transparent before the Lord.”

“If your life is not right, you might teach, preach or do whatever but sinners would not be converted unto the Lord.”

“God does not look only at ‘I don’t steal, I don’t commit adultery or fornication’; those are outward things, He looks at the heart (the intention, purpose, motive, demonstration and the manifestation of His righteousness on the heart).”
