A lot of people have this general opinion that it was God who hardened the heart of Pharaoh in the Bible so that he could be punished for his sins.
Many supported their claims with the fact that it was written in the Bible that God hardened his heart and that’s why they have the conviction that it was God that made his heart to be hardened.
Pastor Abel Damina in his teaching said that God didn’t harden the heart of Pharaoh, rather it was him and those around him who made his heart to be hardened. He said in the Old Testament, they do attribute every action that happened to God.

He made it known that God is absent in the activities of men and that’s why many people do feel God is always present in our day to day activities.
