A man has gone viral, after he revealed what transpired between him and a pastor at a Baptist church in Isoko.
He was the groomsman to a friend who was at the church for his wedding, while he was performing his groomsmen duties, the reverend father told him he is not allowed to wear earrings in church.
He calmly left the church premises, without hesitation. His friend, the groom excorted him out, while they laughed over it
They eventually settled their differences, and both the pastor and the man took photos together outside the church premises, while he was still wearing his earrings.
Well, in my opinion, he was very wrong to have worn earrings to church, knowing that it was against the church doctrine.
Even though I am not condemning his action, but if he were attending a party where the dress code is strictly an all white dress, he wouldn’t wear a different colour of cloth to such party, because he may be denied entry, so why then would he wear an earring to the church, despite being aware such things are prohibited in the church.
He could have simply removed his earrings before even entering, and maybe put them back when he comes out.
