Those who have listened to Bishop David Oyedepo’s messages would explain that the founder and General Overseer of Living Faith Church Worldwide popularly known as Winners Chapel, is know as an eloquent preacher. Sometimes, his teachings are based on analogy.
While delivering his message at Faith Tabernacle, the Living Faith Church headquarters, Bishop Oyedepo said, it’s God’s ‘dummies’ that dominate the world. He told his congregation that before God will make use of anyone, that individual must first be a dummy to God. He said a dummy is someone who obeys every instruction given to him without questioning.
Bishop Oyedepo stated this when he preached during his Church Mid-week Communion Service on Wednesday. He said, God “uses the foolish things of this world to surprise the wise ones.”
Explaining why he said God’s dummies dominant the world, the Preacher said, Abraham had no opinion of his own, rather, he did everything according to God’s instruction and never doubted God. Bishop Oyedepo said people might decided to call Abraham a dummy but he dominated his generation and was also referred to as a friend of God.
Explaining further, the Living Faith Church General Overseer said; “It is God’s dummies that dominate the world.” He told his congregation to follow God the way He instructed and they will dominate the world. He added that there is no room for proud people in the work of God.
The Living Faith Church Pastor said those who wholly followed the Lord will not regret their decisions. When you are committed and consecrated in the services of God without looking back or thinking of yourself, people will see you as a dummy but God sees you as someone who will dominate his generation.
He also said he is God’s ‘dummy’ because he never question any instruction given to him by God.
Bishop Oyedepo then asked his congregation; Won’t you be happy to be a dummy of God and to dominate your world than be considered smart by ordinary men and end up a failure?
