The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye has reiterated his first storm experience to show that God doesn’t change; He is the same yesterday, today and forevermore.
Pastor Adeboye from the video: “Due to my first storm experience, I have had many and because God doesn’t change, I am still here today. I was going to London and somebody bought me a ticket in first class. As we are just settling down in the air; they served us food, and the Pilot came and said to us ‘Ladies and gentlemen, the weather boys just tell us that there is going to be a big storm on this journey but don’t worry we will manage to land.
“The fellow who was sitting next to me froze, and he couldn’t touch his food. I Just smiled and finished my food, turned to him and said to him, Sir you are not eating your food. The man was surprised, he thought I didn’t understand what the Pilot said. The man still asked me if I heard what the Captain said, and I said yes. I turned to him again and asked him if he was not eating because then, I was young and very hungry. I peacefully requested to help him with his food, he gave it to me and I gave him my empty plate. I finished his food and went to sleep.
“The Captain came back later to tell us that the weather boys deceived us, the storm was going to be in Scotland, not in London. I looked at my neighbor, He looked at me and both of us began to laugh. He couldn’t get his food back but he was laughing out of relieve not minding that I have eaten his food.
“If there is any storm in your life, remember that God had stilled storm before, He will do it again”.
