4 Messages sister Osinachi Nwachukwu tried to pass across to the world in her songs
Nigerian Gospel Music Minister, Osinachi Nwachukwu died on the 8th of April, 2022. She was a popular gospel who was known for her famous tracks “The Cry” and “Ekwueme” with Prospa Ochimana. However, the lyrics of her songs are always powerful and pass a direct message to the listeners. However, here are 4 messages Minister Osinachi tried to pass across to Christians in her songs:
4 Messages sister Osinachi Nwachukwu tried to pass across to the world in her songs
1. Repentance
True repentance is not only sorrow for sins and humble penitence and contrition before God, but it involves the necessity of turning away from them, a discontinuance of all evil practices and deeds, a thorough reformation of life, a vital change from evil to good, from vice to virtue, from darkness to light.
However, in the second verse of her track, “The Cry,” she advised that Repentance is now and should not be postponed. If you are still living in sin, it could be late for you if you don’t repent now.
2. Rapture
The rapture is the doctrine that at the return of Christ, all believers will be caught up (i.e., “raptured”) to meet the Lord in the air. However, also in her track, “The Cry” she warned sinners to repent so that they won’t miss the rapture. The saints will be translated into glory and it is advisable you cry now so that you won’t cry when they are gone. She also said that mercy and grace will no longer be available after the rapture.
3. Heaven & Hell Is Real
Where will you spend eternity? Heaven or Hell. According to the Bible, those who are born again will go to heaven while the sinners will go to hell. However, Minister Osinachi reiterated this fact in her track “The Cry” where she said, “Be conscious of Eternity, don’t live your life anyhow, Heaven is real, hell is real, come to Jesus today.”
While describing heaven in the same track, she said, “There is a Beautiful Home far away from where there is no death, where there is no sorrow, where there is no crying, where there are no tears; The Saints are Singing, unto his Holy name. They are giving him Glory Forevermore
4. Worship To God
Minister Osinachi is also a worshipper and in ‘ekwueme,’ the song she sang with Prospa Ochimana, it was all about worship to God. However, she was talking about the supremacy and majesty of God and it is something Christians should continue doing. She called God-King, Great God, Final word, All-Wise God, All-knowing God e.t.c. However, we should also always try to worship God in spirit and in truth.
