The Leader of Eternity Network International and the Convener of the Koinonia weekly programme, Apostle Joshua Selman, has in a video clip posted on Facebook made clarifications on the reason God is silent in your life.
He said there are times when God chooses to be silent to the extent that He won’t listen to all your prayers and fasting. If you ever find yourself in this situation, according to the cleric, it could be that God is still working on you so He will use you as a vessel to do His will, and revealing the will to you at that time would be a waste.
Expatiating further, he said God was silent on Jesus for about 30 years. In that moment of silence, the Bible recorded that Jesus increased in stature, wisdom and favour with God (Luke 2:52). Having said that, the cleric affirmed that anytime God is silent in your life, you should focus on yourself and allow Him to build you like He built Jesus.
God was also silent in the life of Joseph to the extent that his brothers envied and sold him. He was imprisoned after his encounter with Potiphar’s wife but God was preparing him for something great. Therefore, you should not lose hope if God is silent in your life because even in His silence, He is still leading you and He will respond at the appointed time.
