It is often said that we cannot be certain of who penned the Bible. But the authorship of the Bible is often made evident in it. The phrases “the words of Nehemiah,” “the vision of Isaiah,” and “the word of Jehovah that happened to Joel” are used at the beginning of certain passages. Isaiah 1:1, Nehemiah 1:1, and Joel 1:1.
The majority of Bible authors admitted that they wrote in Jehovah’s name, the one real God, and that he was their inspiration. Over 300 times, the prophets who penned the Hebrew Scriptures stated, “This is what Jehovah has spoken.” Micah 2:3, Amos 1:3, and Nahum 1:12 Other authors heard from God via angels. Around 40 people wrote the Bible in the period of 1,600 years. The Bible has several books that were written by specific people. In actuality, the Bible is a 66-book mini-library. It comprises the 27 books of the Christian Greek Scriptures, sometimes known as the New Testament, and the 39 books of the Hebrew Scriptures, commonly referred to as the Old Testament.
