In time past we have heard several occasions of catholic priest that resigns from priesthood and move to holy matrimony due to their personal reasons, many would say the no longer want to continue with the with the life of celibacy and purity.
But in the case of this former Reverend Father, he has took a very bold step by retiring from priesthood after he has served in the lord’s vineyard for 25years, in the catholic church priest that have served for about 25years or more are not just regarded as Reverend Father, but Very Reverend Father which indicates that the know their limit and are wise enough to stay at it.
Instead of violating the Church institution, Rev. Mike Boni resigned being a Priest because he couldn’t continue with the life of not getting married.
Rev. Fr. Mike Boni Bazza who was a lecturer at Veritas University after 25 years of being a priest tied the knot to Ratilla Ussa.
Another interesting thing about his resignation is that he did not leave the catholic church as many will do but still had his wedding ceremony in the Catholic Church.
