The Presiding Pastor of Remnant Christian Network, Apostle Arome in his recent sermon said that some churches are being sponsored by internet fraudsters, popularly called Yahoo Boys and that such churches are not of Christ.
“Such churches are infectious centers where people get infected in their spirit so that when they hear the real gospel, they cannot believe it because they are immunized against it. Such churches are found everywhere, they spread across all the cities of the nation”, Apostle Osayi said.
According to the Cleric, the leadership of such churches does not recognize the Lordship of Jesus Christ and His ability to bring salvation. “The contention with them is that they do everything without Jesus. They want to achieve success in ministry without Jesus, they aspire to be recognized internationally without Jesus, they want crowd, money, fame without Jesus”.
Speaking further, Apostle Osayi stated that if Jesus is not your goal in ministry, you will not have the capacity to be faithful to God because you will always be intimated by pastors without Jesus, who rise to stardom through the sinful path. “Righteousness takes time to produce results, but it has generational capacity and longevity. In this era where pastors compare themselves with one another, if you are the type that wants a quick result, you will not have the courage to serve Jesus”, the Cleric said.
