Awesome! – ‘Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation achieves 25% IVF success rate’

The Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation (IIF), yesterday, said it had achieved 25 per cent success rate in its In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) initiative that aims to reduce infertility among couples in Nigeria.

Chairman of the Foundation, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, said the IVF grant to 40 couples for the two cycles had produced set of many births, including set of twins, although with few glitches.

Ighodalo said in view of the achievement, the 2021 edition of the Parent-in-Waiting Conference, holding today, aims to create awareness of the rising cases of infertility; its early detection, causes and treatments, as well as alternative methods of conceiving.

He said the conference is a yearly programme of the Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation. He said the foundation also provides the necessary psychological and spiritual support to help parents-in-waiting deal with the pressures they face along the journey to conception.

Ighodalo also announced the appointment of a new Executive Secretary, Mrs. Grace Ibijoke Ogunniyi, who will help to drive the founder’s legacy. In her remarks, Ogunniyi said the conference would educate the public and those who have the challenges of fertility.
