Bandits Kill Baptist Pastor In Southern Kaduna, Christians Protest

The Christian community in Kaduna State
embarked on a protest march
following the killing of a Baptist Church cleric,
Rev. Alhamdu Mangadus.
Mangadus was reportedly killed by gunmen
suspected to be bandits.
The gunmen had reportedly trailed the cleric to
his farm in Jema’a local council area in southern Kaduna where he was killed.
State chairman of the Christian Association of
Nigeria (CAN), Rev.
Joseph Hayab, said: “Gunmen killed Rev. Alhamdu Mangadus of Baptist Church, Asso (in Jema’a Council)
“He was shot and killed on his farm and they
injured another fellow from Tanda.”
According to Hayab, the cleric’s corpse was
taken to an unknown destination.
