Bishop Oyedepo’s wife, Faith Oyedepo Asked God to do 4 things to those responsible for Lekki Toll Gate alleged shooting

As Nigerian youths in some parts of the country marked the first year remembrance of the alleged Lekki Toll Gate shooting, many notable Nigerians have lended their voices to remember all the victims of Police brutality across the country. The former Nigerian Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, founder of Daystar Christian Center, Pastor Adeyemi are some of the notable Nigerians who made comments today, Wednesday, October 20, 2021, in regard to last year’s event.

Also, Mrs. Faith Oyedepo, wife to the founder and General Overseer of Living Faith Church Internationally, Bishop David Oyedepo, has used her social media page to react to the event.

The wife of the respected Pastor in the post spotted on her page, made some prayers in remembrance of victims of Police brutality in the country and also asked God to do something to those responsible for Lekki Toll Gate’s alleged shooting of peaceful protesters last year.

Quoting a Bible verse, Mrs Faith Oyedepo prayed and asked God to rain coals; fire and brimstone and a burning wind upon those who are responsible for the sad occurance that took place last year.

In the post on her page, the wife of the Living Faith Church International said: “Upon the wicked He will rain coals; fire and brimstone and a burning wind, shall be the portion of their cup.”

She continued by praying that God should visit those responsible for the attack. In her prayer, she said: “Oh Lord of justice, rain coals, fire, brimstone and burning wind on everyone responsible for the killing of innocent young lives at the Lekki toll gate on that fateful day.”

Recall that it was alleged that some military men opened gun fire on End SARS protesters last year but the Federal Government has denied the incident and said nothing like that happened but some people have continued to accused the governments and security operatives for shooting peaceful protesters.
