Christ Embassy’s Pastor John Amenkhienan Goes Home, Sept 3


The mortal remains of Pastor John Amenkhienan will be interred on 3rd September, 2020 at his hometown, Ewu Community in Edo State.

Pastor John Amenkhienan was until his death on 29th May, 2020 a regional pastor in Christ Embassy (a.ka. Loveworld Inc) in charge of Imo, Abia, Ebonyi, Anambra and Enugu states.

A statement issued by the ministry disclosed that a service of songs will be held in memory of the departed cleric at Christ Embassy central Church, Owerri on 1st September, 2020.

Pastor John became a pastor in Christ Embassy in 2005 after serving many years as deacon in the ministry.

He took over Christ Embassy Imo State from Pastor Oby Isiechei (of blessed memory).

The ministry grew in leaps and bounds in Imo State with many satellite churches birthed under his watch.

It is to his credit that Owerri became a regional headquarter.

Pastor Amenkhienan worked in Merchant Navy before veering into the organized private sector rising to the position of a senior manager in the now defunct NAL Merchant Bank Limited.

He also served as treasurer and president of Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship before joining Christ Embassy.

Pastor Amenkhienan died at 69 years and is survived by his wife, Pastor Mrs. Comfort and many children.
