Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the founder and senior pastor of Salvation Ministries is one of the popular and richest pastors in Nigeria. He is one of the products of the prestigious Banham Methodist Academy, Aggrey Road Port Harcourt. Until it’s demolition in 2021, Banham Methodist Academy had just classrooms. The new Banham Methodist Academy now has 30 classrooms in addition to other facilities. All these wouldn’t have feature without the grace of God on the life of Pastor David Ibiyeomie.
In Deuteronomy 15:11, the Bible says:
“For the poor will never cease from the land; therefore I command you, saying, ‘You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land.”
However, the newly built Banham Methodist Academy is one of many kind gestures of Pastor David Ibiyeomie in helping the society. It is a lesson ministers of God should learn from him. You shouldn’t only invest in the church, the society also deserves some development. When you try to effect changes on your community, you would have more followers and when you preach to people, there is a high possibility that they will answer.
