Pastor Mildred Okonkwo is the wife of Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo who is the founder of David Christian Center. She spoke to her members about how they need to respect the men of God and be cautious about what they say about them.
She condemns church members who go about saying evil things about their pastors. She advised them to repent if they are guilty of such accusation. She revealed that they (Pastors husband) would not tell their members what they are going through but when they make their hair the members become a great critic. The members would even go ahead to say that their Pastors wife make use of their tithe to make her hair forgetting that there was a time when she could not even make her hair. She said that they should understand that some pastors even sow what they are supposed to eat.
According to her, pastors don’t usually say these things but some members will start criticizing them for flying private jets. “You can’t criticize them for flying jets because you don’t know the sacrifice they made. Don’t be angry at them,” she said.
