“Faithful God” Mo Abudu runs to God after receiving knocks from Nigerians over Chief Daddy 2

Coming after Nigerians took to social media to cry out and complain about how poorly scripted EbonyLife TV’s Chief Daddy 2 was, Mo Abudu, the executive producer has taken to social media to react.

Kemi Filani News earlier shared a review of the much anticipated movie which was released on Netflix.

It was released on January 1, 2022 and whew, it was a complete waste of time and star studded for nothing!!! Forgive me if I sound so angry but it really pissed me off.

The tremendous hilarity and energy present in the original were nearly non-existent. It read like it was penned by a Nollywood writer from Asaba.

Of course, the production was fantastic, with beautiful clothes and excellent actors; but then again, it’s an EbonyLife film, so we didn’t expect anything less. However, there was no story thread at all, which was quite disappointing.

Nigerians took to social media to cry out about wasting their data, time and money on the movie.

Amid the call out, Mo Abudu took to her verified Instagram page to thank God for how successful the movie is in terms of ranking on Netflix. “Faithful God . Chief Daddy 2 – number 1 in Nigeria today. Chief Daddy 1 – number 3 in Nigeria today ” She wrote.
