FIVE GREAT LESSONS FROM FIVE GENERALS OF CHRIST APOSTOLIC CHURCH

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-16).

1. PASTOR DAVID OSMOND ODUBANJO: He was the first General Superintendent of CAC Worldwide and was well known for his administrative skills and godly leadership style which helped the stability of the church. He was also A TEACHER OF THE WORD. You would never see Pastor Odubanjo struggling or trying to minister like Apostle Babalola because he knew his ministry. He focused mainly on the ministry God committed to his hand.
2. APOSTLE JOSEPH AYO BABALOLA: He was the first General Evangelist of CAC Worldwide, though some people erroneously call him the founder of CAC. Apostle Babalola stuck to his evangelistic and prophetic ministry while on earth. Despite the enormous grace of God upon his life, he was humble to the core. He was not carried away by his popularity or fame. He respected his leaders, the President, Pastor (Oba) I.B. Akinyele and General Superintendent, Pastor D.O. Odubanjo. Apostle Babalola never for once tried to be like Pastor Odubanjo, he focused mainly on his ministry. In case you don’t know, he was never called an Apostle while on earth. It was after his death he was given the title considering how God used him tremendously for His glory which cannot be overemphasized.
3. PASTOR A. O AKINOSUN: Pastor Akinosun, the incumbent President of CAC Worldwide is well known for his teaching ministry. Those who know when he was at Sanngo DCC, Itire DCC and Osogbo DCC testify to the fact that he teaches the word of God with ease and uncountable number of people have been blessed and saved through the move of the Holy Spirit whenever he ministers. He has written many books which are still blessing lives till today. He also taught at CAC seminary at some point in his ministerial career.
4. PASTOR S. O OLADELE: The current General Superintendent of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Oladele is one of the teachers of the WORD whom God has used over the years to bless lives enormously. Even before becoming the General Superintendent, starting from his days at Sanngo DCC, Oke-Ibukun Oke-Ado, etc., Pastor Oladele has stuck to his calling. He never attempted to be a Prophet or Evangelist and that is why God continues to use him for His glory. Someone told me how people came out to give their lives to Christ even without making altar call when Pastor Oladele taught the WORD at a particular church some years ago. Pastors always eagerly wait for his closing remarks on yearly basis at the Pastors’ Conference since he became the General Superintendent.
5. PROPHET H. O OLADEJI: The name ‘Prophet Hezekiah’ is a household name in CAC, and gradually across the globe. God has overwhelmingly used the incumbent General Evangelist of CAC Worldwide, Prophet Hezekiah to prophetically bless many lives over the years and till date. Prophet Hezekiah has never for once tried to teach or minister like Pastor Akinosun or Pastor Oladele because he knows himself as an Evangelist and Prophet. It must be categorically stated that he is not an Evangelist or Prophet by title. God has used him to preach the gospel in many places and he has planted many churches even abroad.

CONCLUSIVELY
Try to know and stick to your ministry. God has a purpose for calling you to the ministry. Never be driven by appetite like Esau, but by God-given PURPOSE like John the Baptist. Many lives have been predestined to be saved and blessed through your ministry. Never abandon your ministry.
