No wedding is perfect but couples who are in love find a way to keep their marriage going through wisdom, peace, and compromise. Divorce is common nowadays, but some couples are celebrating decades of their union, like a former Mount Zion couple.
Mount Zion Faith Ministries is like the biggest gospel movie industry in Nigeria, and they have been teaching godly family values since the 1980s. Some pioneers of the group are no longer with them, and they include Israel Ore-Adewole and Elizabeth Ore-Adewole.
People who are conversant with Mount Zion movies will be very familiar with their faces, especially Israel, who played the character of Wigoroye in ‘The gods are dead.’ He also played the role of Apoti Eri’s father in one of Mount Zion’s blockbusters.
He joined Mount Zion casually in 1985, became a full-time minister in 1989, and received instructions to leave in 2009. The couple found it hard but had to obey. They got married in 1991, God blessed them with 3 beautiful daughters, and it is their 31st anniversary now.
One of their major callings now is to work in French-speaking countries, and they also translate English gospel movies into French. Happy wedding anniversary to them.
