I am sure you have heard someone say something about how he keeps on striving regardless of the haters around him, or how he continues to move regardless of the lack of support he receives, but gospel musician Frank Edwards, has sent a message that people who always talk like this should consider.
He said that by the time you truly focus on what you should be doing, you will not even notice whether or not anybody hates you or supports your hustle. He further drove home his point by declaring that if you see a post and you feel like the creator of the post was addressing you in a way, it’s a sign that you need to change, which made it seem like the whole post was a subtle announcement to someone.
In spite of that, let’s consider what he has said. It is true that truly focused people don’t have time to consider what other people are saying about them. Look at Thomas Edison for example; legend has it that he failed more than a hundred times in his quest to invent the light bulb, but he was focused enough to finally achieve it.
Have you wondered how many people supported him during that period? Did he even care whether or not he had supporters? All he was concerned about was the achievement of his goal.
