Dress wise, weddings in recent times have not always meet with the standards of the Bible, as laid down by the Apostles to the early church. Many now dress in gowns that exposes certain sensitive part of their body to the altar on their wedding day. Not to even mention the way some dress during their bridal shower, in the name of fashion.

However, according to Paul’s admonition to Timothy on how a Christian Lady is expected to dress (1 Timothy 2:9 KJV), a woman should adorn herself in modest apparels, with shamefacedness and sobriety, and not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array.

Therefore, judging by this standard, Darasimi Oyor, the last daughter of Mike Bamiloye, has proven to be a true follower of the teachings of the Bible, as she exemplified it by doing the same althrouh her wedding ceremony, beginning from the bridal shower.

Unlike others who take the bridal shower to be a day for fun, Darasimi and her maids held hands to pray to the Almighty God. This action showed that she has decided to entrust the marriage into God’s hands.
