Anwinli and Ohis Ojeikere popularly known as the Winlos took to their Twitter handle to reveal why one needs to discern the heart of a giver when receiving gifts.
They revealed that receiving gifts might be proof of love, but on some occasions, it can be used for emotional manipulation.
The winlos use creative skits, sketches, and dramatic illustrations of common life issues to inspire lives and share tips on relationships.
They wrote,
Although, giving gifts may be a proof of love but you must discern the heart of the giver. Discernment save you from issues like “After I bought her shawarma,she is saying she will not spend the night at my house”. Common Shawarma that you would have been able to buy yourself oh.
