On the 21st March 2020 during the mountain service of one of the churches making waves in Delta, Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (C.M.D.M), popularly called Mercy City alias ‘The Arena of Solution and Power. The man of God, Warri based prophet; Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, the General Overseer of the great ministry prophesied, revealed what the Lord has told him concerning the coronavirus during his midnight prayers. He revealed how the Coronavirus also known as COVID-19 will disappear a few days after he prophesied about the virus.
According to his words “God has taken away this coronavirus, which after one month and one-week counting from on the 21st March this coronavirus will be no more. It will disappear the way it came in starting from Wuhan, China then to other countries of the world. We have to seek the face of God and cry for mercy. Don’t panic; God send the virus to prove that He’s God and it’s a sign of the end-time but the end is not come.”
After giving the prophecy he went up to the Mount Carmel in Mercy City again to cry to his God for mercy “Remember this is the mountain where I prayed about the postponement of Presidential election and it surely came to pass.
The Lord has spoken to me again that coronavirus will be no more. God said He is the one who created heaven and earth and He has heard our cry by his mercy. God said enemies programmed evil against the world because of our sins on earth; brother killing brother, human being eating human being, and many atrocities that are happening in the world. God is angry because we are doing what is contrary to his will, and that is why the enemy came with the eastern wind to torment us, But He said, He has sent the western wind to supersede the evil wind. The Lord asked me to tell the world this; I don’t speak on my own. I saw the Angels of the Lord chasing away Coronavirus, its team and its family and they were roaming into the ocean. I pray everyone will hear good news. It will not spread as you are hearing anymore. Don’t bother about anything you hear, He has heard us and He has answered our cry, the cry of Mercy”
The founder of Mercy Television, Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin popularly called has suspended all services and gatherings in the church headquarter till further notice. He also advised everyone to regularly and thoroughly wash hands with soap under running water, use alcohol-based sanitizers, stay indoors and stay safe, healthy and prayerful.

Prophet Jeremiah was born in Burutu, Warri, Delta State, Nigeria on 15 February 1972. He had his primary school education at Zuokunor Primary School in Burutu L.G.A of Delta State between 1981 and 1986. His secondary education was at Gbesa Grammar School Ojobo 1986–1992.
He is married to Anthonia Fufeyin and they have four children: Harriet, Kindness, Goodness and Happiness. He was born in a polygamous home and is the 22nd child out of the 36 children born by his father, Late Livingston Stevenson Toboukeyei Fufeyin and Asetu.
The prophet is a man of many gifts and he uses them to bless the people whom God has given to him. He is fondly called Papa, The Tireless General, and The Dancing Prophet. He a father to many people, spiritual father to many ministers of the gospel, a philanthropist, a lover of people and a lover of God. He is called to give solutions to the people, to deliver nations from bondage and the yoke that Satan has put God’s children in. Like Jesus’ he is moved with great compassion and he never fails to speak into the lives of his children.
