Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide spoke about Obedience at Covenant Hour of Prayer. He read the book of Isaiah 55:8-9 which says:
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways my ways saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts”
The man of God however revealed that obedience may not make sense to our little sense because his ways are higher than our ways . He said that nothing can lockdown the Word, so there is no circumstance or situation that can stop God’s Word from having its way. Obedience of faith will pave the way for anybody, anywhere and at any time. Obedience of faith will change the story of anybody, anywhere and at any time.
However, he explained that there are things that God says which is far above us, all we need to tap into the blessings of this is obedience. Simple obedience. “Only God could have said, “this is the place”, when we came down here,” he said.
In conclusion, a man of God will revealed that His God’s instructions may not make sense but it guarantees results. “You will not miss your place and your little sense and my little sense will not block our access to God’s agenda,” he prayed.
