A Nigerian clergyman, Gbenga Samuel-Wemimo, has shared the story of how a woman visited him in his church and attempted to make him stop his female member from arresting her gay son.
In a Twitter thread, the clergyman said the woman had visited him in church after an evening service and told him that a female member of his church had arrested her son and is stopping the police from releasing him. He said the woman told him not to tell his female member that she reached out to him as most of the people she had sent met a brick wall.
He said he had a conversation with his church member involved who then recounted how the woman’s son who is an undergraduate came into her house when she was away and tried to sodomize her sons.
