Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the founder and senior pastor of Salvation Ministries spoke to his members at Salvation Ministries, Home of Success, Sunday Service.
He revealed that praise is very powerful, it gives you supernatural victory over the enemy and his works. He said that long ago somebody in power was out to fight this Church, it was a fierce battle, very fierce and he said they should bring down the building. He gave an order that the Church should be brought down. He said that in that kind of battle where the man was at the helm of affairs, they sent a note to him.
He didn’t argue with them and told them to go and bring it down because they looked very serious. They came with a bulldozer to bring the building down. According to him, it happened physically and it was not a dream. They were coming with the bulldozer and when the bulldozer got to the roundabout, the engine went off. They were not able to do anything.
Speaking further, he said that the military men came with arms and stood there shouting and he heard them from his office. So, he came down, pointed his finger at the Commissioner, and said “If you touch one block here and all of you remain alive till tomorrow then I am not called by God.” They all looked at him and they retreated back and said “Who is this man without a gun talking to them like that. He told them that if they touch this block and they don’t die the next morning then he is not called.
At that time, he was fierce and the man did not stop there, he was still threatening to bring it down and they went on to Praise, midnight heavy praise. However, the moment the praise ended, the following day they began to shoot in Port Harcourt, the kind of shooting has not happened before in Port Harcourt. They were shouting towards where the man was staying. They were shooting and so he was trying to escape for his life, it was as if there was a Civil war.
The military was shooting and the militants were also shooting. He said that when God has taken over the fight, you know nothing can stop it, at that point the hand of God has left. So, the man himself ran away, everybody was running for their lives as they were watching. The enemies were fighting each other. The man left them alone, that was how they won. Everyone planning to fight them will fight themselves.
Finally, he said that he didn’t think anybody knew that it was praise that made that thing happen. At that point he had to face the one that was before him, he left them alone. That’s what God does, all negative gathering against you and I, I decree that they will fight themselves.
