A twenty-seven – year old Ifeanyi Agbor has been arrested by Imo state police command for the murder of a sixty-five-year-old man identified as Pastor Timothy Osakwe.
Ifeanyi who confessed to having killed the pastor said that the victim raped his sister three years ago and got away with it.
He said, “I decided to kill the pastor because he raped my sister three years ago and nothing was done about it. He got away with it because he was very rich and still punished my parents. I have no regrets about it. I’m ready to face the law and I’m happy I did it.”
The suspect said that he was locked up in the station for eight days because he challenged him and decided to kill him after he was released by the police.
Imo state public relations officer, Ezekiel Eze who confirmed the incident said that the suspect would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
