African musician, Lady May, has spoken concerning her transition to singing about Jesus and inspirational songs. During her recent interview on Silverbird TV, Lady May revealed that she had been in the music industry before contesting on the Big Brother Africa (BBA) show.
Speaking about her life and career, Lady May said, “I was a musician before competing on the Big Brother Africa show. I am grateful to the Lord for all he has done for me, and I decided to give my life to God and transition into singing inspirational music. I was a Christian before the transition, but I had not given my life to God. For example, I formerly performed ‘half-naked’ on stage before giving my life to God. However, I do not do that anymore. I am fully covered, as you can see. I often sing about Jesus, and I also sing inspirational songs, but I do not brand myself as a gospel singer.”
