I heard that the National Mosque and Christian Association Center gets $50 million every year – Wike Reveals.

The current FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, has expressed his dedication to collaborating with different religious groups in the federal capital territory. He posted a video on his official Instagram page, where he mentioned that he had heard about a yearly grant of fifty million naira for the national mosque Christian association in Abuja center.

He said that he is prepared to keep collaborating with different religious groups, similar to the previous FCT minister. However, he made it clear that he won’t be pressured into taking actions that would harm the well-being of Nigerians.

In his statement, he said, “I heard there is a 50 million yearly grant to the national mosque and Christian association center. The former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, said that the national mosque is a national asset, and so he said about the Christian association center as a national asset too, and that’s why the government can award contracts for the maintenance of those two assets. If not so, we have no business to go and use government funds to maintain religious centers.”
