It is quite obvious that the end of a thing is more important than the beginning. Though your beginning might be small if you trust in God, he will make a way for you. However, Pastor Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God spoke of how he started little and by God’s grace, his story changed.
He revealed that if anybody had said to him when he was a lecturer of Mathematics in the University of Lagos, that one day he will travel around the world preaching the Gospel, received by presidents of nations, he would just tell the fellow to go back to sleep if it was a dream. He said that in every man there is a potential, requiring the fire to get it going. There is a potential in each and every one of us to become the most influential people in the world.
According to him, thirteen years ago, when they were writing about 50 Most Influential People in the world, they came to Nigeria and found one and it was him. He said that he wondered how that could be but when the fire comes, firewood will become fire. When the fire comes for you today when the enemy sees you they will run.
Speaking further, he said that when his father had problems with his relations and they told him that the next morning they will use him for breakfast, for thirteen years he ran. According to him, if they said they will use you for breakfast, if you are around by the next morning you will be breakfast. But now, when he wants to go back home and all the forces of darkness hear that he is coming, they will run, because the fire fell.
