In today’s Thanksgiving service for the Year at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye The General overseer of the Church spoke on Songs on Victory. He noted that they are here to worship God and glorify God’s holy name for all he has done throughout the Year. The service was filled with lots of songs and rejoicing as he paused during his message to raise a song of Joy.
He focused his message on the books of Psalm chapter three verses one to three. He said human beings were created to sing at all times regardless of our mood, it doesn’t matter if we are happy or sad, losing or winning a battle. Also, the kind of songs we sing determines the kind of situation we are going through at the moment. He referred to the case of Hannah in the book of first Samuel chapter 2, after God performed a miracle and she was able to conceive a child for her husband the songs she sang were very special. He prophesied that those of you having troubles in your marriage because of a second woman trying to put asunder, you will sing a song a victory very soon. When God gives you victory over your Enemies without you struggling the song will be different, just like the children of Israel in the book of Exodus God divided the Red Sea without fighting the battles with the Egyptians.
Pastor Enoch exhorted that if you are a child of God every morning you will wake with a song of Victory, you will keep on rejoicing because your name is written in the book of life, it doesn’t matter what you going through all that matters is going to Heaven. You have to be born again and repent from all your sins, be a child of the Kingdom of God and ask God to save your soul so that you will have joy unspeakable.
