Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide spoke at Day 16, Evening Session, 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting, Communion Service.
He revealed that by God’s grace without sweat, his simple life is a mystery to many, and there are all kinds of misinterpretations. That is how every child of God is ordained to be. John 3:8. You have hung around that mountain of self-esteem and the knowledge that puffs off too long, surrender and see what He makes of your life.
According to him, there was a woman here whose child was dying, crying every night by 1 am. A Christian Sister said to her “do you serve her communion?”. She said I don’t take communion. The woman then urged them to serve this child communion and as soon as they served her communion, the night cry seized. The child excreted human hairs and life ants and the siege was over. He said that every single instruction saves you from destruction. If you don’t believe it, that’s your cup of tea. We believe in it and are under the covering of the blood.
He said that if you don’t believe in tithing, carry on with your financial tightness. If you don’t go to church and claim you are streaming online, Be online. The grace that moves people from strength to strength you can’t find it online. The cleansing word that people and puts them on course with God you can’t find it except you are there. He then advised them to honour God, celebrate the integrity of His Word, and live a life of meaning. “I love you with all my heart. My prayer is that I lift everyone to heaven at the end of his journey by His grace upon my life,” he said.
