The Nigerian Televangelist and General Overseer of Christ Embassy International Ministry, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has revealed why Christians need to join politics.

The renowned clergyman said it is scripturally right for a Christian to participate in politics. He said there are many biblical character who can be referenced. “Don’t criticize any of God’s people about the strategies that they may be employing. Don’t criticize them, just leave them. If their strategies is not inconsistent with the word of God, leave them alone. Someone said, what is a Christian doing in politics? What do you mean what’s a Christian doing in politics? Go and read about many of those who were into politics in the bible. If you leave the whole thing to people who don’t have the interest of people at heart, they will keep making decisions you don’t like. So, it is biblical for a Christian to participates in politics,” Pastor Chris said.

That’s why some of you need to go in there, become a representatives and you will have a voice in there. They will consult you because they need to form quorum and they will need you, and they can’t buy you because you’re already bought with a price. So, it’s about time.
