Meet the two Renowned Pastors who as 2 PhDs

Pastor William Folorunsho Kumuyi often refer to has the Holiness Revival Preacher, is not just Good at Pastoring his church, but was also an Academic Don in his days at the University.

William was born on the 6th of June 1941, is the founder and General Superintendent Of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry and the Author of several books. He became a born-again Christian in April 1964.

Williams Kumuyi lived a life of righteousness during his days at the University of Ibadan, he serves as example to all that those who thought Pastor are dumb and illiterate, they are not dropout neither did they fall out of school.

Another example is the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God,

Pastor Enoch Adeboye who is also a Graduate of Mathematics at the University of Ibadan.

Education

Kumuyi born into a Christian family in Erin ijesha, of Osun state, completed his secondary school Education at Mayflower school in Ikenne, Ogun state.

He proceeded to the university of Ibadan and in 1967 Graduated with a first class honours degree and was the overall Best Graduating students in his time, this record he broke as a devoted Christian in his University days.

He subsequently took a post-graduate course in Education at the University of Lagos.

Personal Life

Pastor Williams Folorunsho met Mrs Abiodun Olowu in 1972, this was during one of his Bible study class with some students and members of his fledging Christian Ministry. This led to their Union as husband and wife on 13 September 1980 in Lagos and they have two children Jeremiah and John.

Mummy Abiodun Kumuyi died on 11 April 2009.

After 19 months of her, through the church persistence and in accordance to the Bible, he got married on 13 October 2010 to Folashade Adenike Blaize in London.

Lesson to learn

3. They are Academic Don, God never forget his own.

4. When next you see a Pastor respect Him.

5. Serving God doesn’t mean you should fail academically.

Pastor Kumuyi went to bagged an honourable Doctors of Philosophy degree from the University of Abuja.
