One thing I’m used to is being misunderstood. It comes with the terrain of being a strong woman. The impossiblity of being controlled or subdued or taken advantage of alone is an affront to many people. What I’m saying is just because I have a persona that refuses anything that isn’t godly i.e. manipulation and control, I’m easily tagged as so many names.

Also, the impossibility, I choose my words carefully, IMPOSSIBILITY to remain bent no matter what life throws at me is seen as a challenge to those without the mind of Christ. Four days after our wedding, fake pages were created on this same platform; calling me different types of unprintable names, tagging those who meant anything to me, sharing the basest of thoughts and the wrongest of notions! However, one of the things that still trips me about their poor spellings and low thinking was a line that went like this; “we don’t know why you’re proud. Your parents are not rich, you don’t have a car, you did not school abroad, so what exactly are you trying to prove?” So even in the anger, y’all recognize value?😂😂😂😂 The essence of my story is to show you the lengths people went to try to ensure our union did not stand. Everytime my husband was faced, he simply, quietly, gently but emphatically chose me! He stuck with what God told him. Many times, I kept saying “gbogbo kinni yii o necestri!’ There are many fishes in the sea ke! I’m a spec, you’re a spec! Let’s move on.”He would just smile and do as if I didn’t say anything.

I think they misunderstood his ‘softness.’ Because it took one call; all those pages went down immediately. 😂You dey take ‘soft’ man dey play? He makes it VERY VERY CLEAR; “she’s my wife! You can have your own opinions about her. That’s your personal concern. She’s MY WIFE. You’ll respect her as MY WIFE!” It’s been three years of seeing my baby choose me constantly.

No matter how strong anyone is, these things have a major effect! Today, I CHOOSE TO PUBLICLY CELEBRATE MY HUSBAND! A man in Christ, the God-Kind of Husbandman, a finished man who only allows Christ complete Him, My Own Samuel! Happy 3rd Anniversary, Billionaire! 📸: @lensesbykas Reina!❤️
