It is said that one of the greatest gifts a man or a woman can ask for, is the gift of a good spouse. This is because marriage is to be enjoyed, not endured. For the founder of the House on The Rock Church, Paul Adefarasin and his lovely wife, Ifeanyi, they have proved this as they are obviously still deeply in love as when they first started. At any auspicious opportunity, this super couple never wasted it as they have nothing but beautiful words and open affection for each other.
This week, another wonderful milestone in their marital life beckons as Ifeanyi clocked 50 on Friday 16 September and the charismatic televangelist excitedly ushered his beautiful beau into her golden years with the announcement of a three-day celebration.
Announcing the plan, Adefarasin invited all to join them in the main sanctuary of the church for the half a century birthday of his partner of 29 years. The celebration started with a thanksgiving service that ushered the pretty woman into the golden club on Friday. The festivity continues today, Saturday with an all-women celebration to serenade her while the grand finale will be held on Sunday with the Super Celebration Sunday Service for another thanksgiving.
The new golden Ifeanyi, a former beauty queen and banker, is of Nigerian (Igbo) and German descent. She is the daughter of late Nigerian Professor Victor Mordi and his German wife. Ifeanyi got married to Pastor Paul in 1995 and ever since then, they have stuck together to achieve all they set out to achieve till today. They are blessed with three children; two boys and a girl— Hilda Adebola, Alvin Adegboyega and Alexander Adekunle.
