The fallouts of the EndSARS protests are becoming more interesting with all sorts of intrigues. Amidst looting of Covid-19 Palliatives and carting away the politicians’ properties, a new shift occured online today as the posters for 2023 presidency surfaced on social media.

In the poster, we saw the very popular Pastor Sam Adeyemi as a presidential and Aisha Yesufu as vice presidential candidates under the political party called Young Democratic Party (YDP).

Well, to me, It’s not too bad but we need youths who’ll carry our beliefs and I don’t think Pastor Sam Adeyemi or Aisha Yesufu will be interested in any political post. It is my opinion though!

Besides, none of them is a politician and I don’t think we need one either. What we need is a technocrat not a religious person. The last time I checked VP is a pastor and Oshimole was an Activist.

This picture reminds me of Oshiomole… Activist this, comrade that. The moment he stepped into power, the glamour consumes him and became a political monster.

Pairing these people together might not be a good idea, we can’t be deceived by another pastor. Moreover, a pastor has no place in politics. We can’t afford to be sentimental that’s what put us in this mess in the first place.

As a suggestion, we need to target senatorial seats, we need to occupy 80% of those seats, senators are the leaders and controllers of everything in democracy. It is unfortunate that most people don’t know how powerful this arm of government is. President is just a figurehead!
