Gospel musician, Evangelist Yinka Alaseyori, was in a very joyful mood on Monday, August 2, when she got a surprise gift of a Toyota Highlander from the founder and senior pastor of the Champions Royal Assembly, Abuja, Pastor Joshua Iginla.
Yinka Alaseyori was in the news recently over her song which she entitled “Oniduro Mi” a song which another gospel musician condemned and which sparked a controversy on the social media.
However, on Monday, Pastor Iginla, the founder and senior pastor of the Champions Royal Assembly, a megachurch which meets in an 80,000-seat auditorium in Kubwa, Abuja, surprised Yinka Alaseyori by giving her a Toyota Highlander Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) shortly after the end of a programme held in the church where the lady was a guest singer.
The event, which was posted on the Facebook wall of the Joshua Iginla Ministries, saw the excited gospel musician in her car, praising the Lord after the cleric handed over the keys to the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV).
According to a statement on the event posted on the Facebook wall, the gift was given to her by the cleric as a form of appreciation for her efforts in singing to the Lord.
According to the statement: “Heaven wrapped her hands upon the earth during a tremendous worship and praise section by Evangelist Yinka Alaseyori at the Champions International Headquarters, Abuja, Nigeria.
“After the soul winning programme, filled with an exciting atmosphere, Papa Joshua Iginla, in his usual habit of giving, appreciation and love, gave the humble minister an exotic car gift.
“She was perplexed and thankful. Indeed God uses men to elevate and increase men. Like Papa Joshua Iginla will say, the best gift God gave men is the gift of a man to a man.”
