Prophet Odumeje and Governor Okowa gives Christians hope with their Easter messages

Christians world over are celebrating Easter Sunday today, 12th April, 2020, which is in commemoration of the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus.

And many clergy men and Government officials have sent out their Easter messages acrosd to Christians, both within their locality and world over. One of them are controversial Onitsha based man of God, Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State.

Prophet Odumeje and Governor Okowa’s Easter messages reflects the current situation of the world, which is filled with pains, tears, and sadness, as such, their messages gives Christians big hope of triumph amid the current global situation.

In a message made available via his social media page, his Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa said: “Happy Easter to Christians around the world! As we reflect on the importance of today, let us pray to Almighty God to heal our state, our county, and the world from the #COVID19 virus.

Let us also extend the spiritual benefits of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ-which include love, peace, justice, sacrifice and kindness- to one another.

It is my prayer for you and your household: that the blessings and lessons of today, will continue to impact positively on all our lives as we navigate the complexities of this critical time. Amen”

On his part, Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje wrote too on his social media platform: “May the risen Christ be our source of hope and joy in the moments of pains and difficulties, in Jesus name, Amen.

In spite the Corona Virus pandemic world over, Christians still found a way to overcome the challenges to have a memorable celebration, as they commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
