Rare Photos: Meet The Father And Mother Of Prophet TB Joshua And What He Said About Them Before His Death

The death of Prophet Temitope Balogun has no doubt been one of the major headlines in Nigeria. The founder and general overseer of the Synagogue Church of all nations reportedly died on the 5th of June 2021. The reports also claim that the man of God, who was aged 57, gave up the ghost after a church service in Lagos on Saturday. However, in this article, we are going to meet the father and mother of Prophet T.B. Joshua and what he said about them in 2018.

In mid-2018, prophet T.B. Joshua gave an insight into his family, revealing the humble home where he grew up. For those who may not know, prophet T.B. Joshua hailed from Arigidi-Akoko, Ondo state. His mother was Folarin Balogun, while his father was Kolawale Balogun (a former translator). In June 2018, the founder of the synagogue church of all nations posted a photo of him and his mother on Instagram and said that it was the last hug she gave to him before her demise.

According to T.B. Joshua, the photo was a way of paying tribute to his mother who always advised him to look into his love walk, as failure to do so can shut down one’s relationship with God. He added that “What a wonderful woman! She never failed to call us for prayer before going to bed.”

A day after, prophet T.B. Joshua posted a photo of his father who died when he was a child. He said, “I was a baby before the death of my father. Consequently, I knew nothing about my late father and the entire family burden rested squarely on my mother’s shoulders.”

A day after, he posted another photo but this time it was a photo of his childhood home.
