Wednesday, January 26 was the birthday of iconic football
manager, Jose Mourinho. The ex-Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham boss was all smiles as he got a round of applause from Roma players and staff who surprised him with a cake and champagne in the dressing room on his 59th birthday.
After cutting his cake, he showed flashes of his man-
management skills by walking over to give captain, Lorenzo
Pellegrini the first slice.
Mourinho was 37 when he first became a manager, with
Benfica in 2000.
The former Chelsea and Real Madrid coach has since won
Europe’s top club competition with Porto and Inter Milan,
plus eight domestic top-flight titles.
