See What Evangelist Lawrence Oyor Said About The Mystery Of Praying At 3pm

The name Lawrence Oyor is almost becoming a household name in Nigeria especially among the young people. Lawrence Oyor is known for his chants and unique style of worship, drawing hearts close to Christ. He is a passionate young man catalyzing hunger, passion, and love for the Lord Jesus Christ. He has a twin brother.

The young Nigerian evangelist who got married to Darasimi Mike-Bamiloye last month took to his social media handle (Facebook) today sharing on the mystery of praying at 3 pm. Is there anything special about praying at 3 pm? Read on below carefully:

Lawrence started by citing scriptural examples of biblical characters who prayed at 3 pm and got great results. He mentioned men like Peter and John (Acts 3 verse 1), Daniel ( Daniel 9 verse 21), Elijah(in 1Kings 18 verse 36-38), Cornelius (Acts 10:30) and the greatest of them all, Jesus Christ, who all prayed at 3 pm and saw mammoth results. 3 pm must be a very powerful time to pray!.

According to Lawrence Mayor, the aim of writing on the subject was because he read of some people who learned about praying at 3 pm from the scripture and decide to began praying by 3 pm, forming a doctrine out of it. Adding that, “he won’t be surprised if someone copies the foregoing and turn it into a powerful sermon.” In his post today, Lawrence made it clear that the only special thing about praying at 3 pm or a particular time is if God asked you to do so.

And if you choose to pray at a particular time, consistency is key. If God asked you to be praying at a special hour, obedience is very important. That praying at 3 pm doesn’t determine results. It’s Faith that brings results or answers in prayer. God doesn’t care about time but the Faith in your heart. Praying in the night or day doesn’t affect the results or rewards of prayer but Faith in God does.

Evangelist Lawrence Oyor further noted that “it’s the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man that avails much.” I guess, Brother Lawrence wants people to be guided especially his numerous followers on social media. From my understanding of what Oyor did post, the time of prayer doesn’t count but Faith in your heart towards God who can answer prayer and change your life for good.

This then means God answers prayer anytime, any day. If we would pray and seek His face concerning our lives with trust in His ability to hear us, He would surely answer and send us help. Another factor is righteousness, God answers fast the prayers of a righteous man as pointed out in the book of James. “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

He wrote: “Fire has come down from heaven at other times, Angels have visited men at other times, God appeared to Solomon at night and visited Abraham in the heat of the day. Apostles prayed at other times, Prophets prayed at other times. And the Lamb of God was slain from the foundation of the world, the works were finished then!”.

It worth knowing that, ” the ninth hour of the day, and the time of the evening sacrifice, or evening oblation in the scriptures all translate 3 pm in our present day.”
