On this special day, as I turn 61, my heart is brimming with gratitude. Since the early hours, I have been inundated with calls and felicitations, each one a reminder of the many blessings in my life. Throughout the years, I’ve witnessed the ebb and flow of life – relationships evolve, yet one constant remains consistently present: the unwavering presence of the Lord in one’s life.
Today, as I bask in the outpouring of love and warm wishes on this 61st birthday, and as the messages and calls of felicitation continue to pour in, I am reminded of the incredible community in whose midst I live and serve. Your kind messages and thoughts today lend a special glow to my reflections.In the year ahead, I am eager to see how it all unfolds according to His plan. I believe it will be a year rich in learning and growth.
As a shepherd lit by His light, I embrace the prospects that unfold before us. Now, let me offer this heartfelt prayer for all of us: Our Father, on this day of reflection, hear my heart’s cry for every soul in my watch, for every member of our faith community. Let their pre-appointed doors open wide. May they discover new expanses of joy in abundance and realise that with You, every conclusion is merely the beginning of greater blessings.
