The General Overseer of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche, recently told his member that no pastor is authorised by God to release negative prophecy on his members.
According to the video he posted on his official Facebook page, the clergy man said that prophecy are meant for edification exhortation and for comfort. That means that pastor are suppose to stir hope in people’s life with their positive prophetic words and not negative prophecy.
However, he said that if there be any negative thing revealed to the pastor, it’s God unveiling the plans of the enemies to the pastor in other for him to pray and notify the evil plans.
He then read a bible passage from the book of Number 6:23 to prove that a pastor is made for releasing blessing to his followers, it says “Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, on this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them”.
He added that a priest who is also known as a pastor is a releaser of God’s blessing and a giver of continuous hope. In conclusion, people can be told the consequence of their wrong doings but hope should also always be the duty of the Pastor to give to his member whenever they are down.
