The Rock Cathedral Parish of HOTR recently hosted the distinguished team of envoys from @ukinnigeria.

The British High Commission, comprising Ms. Harriet Thompson – Deputy British High Commissioner, Nigeria, and Mr. Wale Adebajo – Snr Political Officer, British Deputy High Commission yesterday.

Joined by a pair from his erudite team of advisers in Politics, Trade, and International Relations; Mr. Alaba Sonibare (CEO ALABA Sonibare & Co) Mrs. Lilian Olubi, (CEO, EFG Hermes Nigeria Ltd), we toured the Rock Cathedral and shared some of our cultural, national and Christian history.

We also took some time to discuss a myriad of issues, exploring opportunities the special relationship between the United Kingdom and Nigeria affords both nations particularly with regard to the role faith-based communities can endeavour to undertake in the important cause of nation building and the development of a sustainable Nigerian economy.

It really was an important consultation and prospects great opportunities for deliberate national development.
