Men of God are renowned to be very serious and committed to the mandate God has placed on them. They are daily focused and connected to the series of events and missionary activities that are divinely vested on them. However, in the face of the public, they are not really known or believed to be jovial nor to be able to crack jokes and make comic reactions to several funny things around them. Some men of God, most especially in the Nigerian terrain of Christendom have been seen to oversee massive congregations and with throngs of programmes which is believed to have gotten them preoccupied from having normal leisure activities as the normal people do. But, that is not really the case in the life of some of these clerics.
Dr Paul Eneche is the General Overseer of Dunamis Church, with headquarters in the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria, Abuja. According to Church Gist, he has released some pictures of himself and his family having a very cordial time relaxing. In his words, the cleric has described himself as a very easy going and humorous individual. According to his words as sourced from Church Gist, Dr Paul Eneche recounts on a particular time when he and his family were on a visit to Lagos, he was cracking some jokes and his daughter and wife were laughing continuously. One very curious person, who is believed to also be around them, drew near and wanted to know what the cleric was saying to his people that was so funny.
This shows practically that, the cleric could also be humorous and jovial, alongside with his divine assignment as a man of God. He also reiterated on his very lively lifestyle, in that, he praises God and dances so much joyfully, to the amazement of people. He does always heave his body to any melodious song. However, he would not be carried away in it not till he has confirmed if such music is one that glorifies God. Being a man of God with several tight schedules of ministerial duties should not take away the normal human side from you. You should be able to take things liberally thus, people would be blessed from your simplicity and also be encouraged.m to also replicate such in their lives.
The cleric also narrated how his wife is always happy and joyful from the home. That is also the face and expression she does carry outside. It is a permanent mood that has become part of her as a result of her connection to his joyful side, and most significantly, the happiness that does always come from his ever jovial side with his family. There is a joy that only God can give. This joy believers must always exhibit in their lives at all times. If the world cannot give you joy, then they cannot take it away from you. If you joy comes from the Lord, then it is an everlasting one.
